Safety at the Arena

COVID Policy (as of 24 October 2022) – Provincial Policy currently states: You should stay home until all of the following apply to you:

·         Your symptoms have been improving for at least 24 hours (or 48 hours if you had nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea) 

·         You do not have a fever

·         You do not develop any additional symptoms

Dressing Rooms

Team Staff shall have
least two adults with Vulnerable Sector Checks present in the dressing room at all times.

The use of any form of camera, video camera, phone camera or other portable digital device for the use of taking photos, video recordings or audio recordings is prohibited in any recreational change rooms.  It is the team official's responsibility to monitor and control the use of such devices (HEO Policies, 6.1 Portable Digital Devices, Para iv. Guidelines, Rev. 3 April 2019)

Team Safety

Players found drinking, under the influence or in possession of alcohol or drugs before, during or after a game will be immediately suspended by his or her coach from the team. Further discipline may be imposed by the disciplinary committee before he/she participates in any future games. (Page 13, Muskrat Constitution)

On ice helpers – Muskrat players who would like to assist coaching staff must be at least one age group above the team they are assisting, must wear full hockey gear and be on an official Muskrat Team roster.
