At the end of each game, teams are to remain on the ice for the Player of the Game (one for each team) gift presentations.  Recipients will be chosen by the MMHA volunteer score & time-keepers.  No player may receive this award more than once throughout the day.

Change Room Schedule for the Day:

Room 3 Renfrew
Room 4 Stittsville
Room 7 Muskrat 1

Rules remain the same as the original 8-team format, with the exception of Rule #3: With 5 teams, we are using the above 5-team format, instead of our traditional 8-team format.

If a game is tied at the end of regulation time, for any game throughout the day, the following will occur, as per Rule #13:
(i) 3 minute, 3 on 3 sudden death overtime.  If still tied:
(ii) 4 player shootout (most goals in).  Same player cannot shoot twice.  If still tied:
(iii) 3 player shootout (sudden death), same player cannot shoot twice.  If still tied, shootout continues through the roster.

NEW for this 5-team format, procedure for ranking teams after the morning games:
3 points for a regulation-time win
2 points for an OT/Shootout win
1 point for OT/Shootout loss

To settle ties in points when ranking 1st through 5th:

When 2 teams are tied in points
(i) Head-to-head result if those teams played each other in morning
(ii) Team with most wins in morning games
(iii) Goal differential: Number of goals scored minus number of goals allowed
(iv) Fewest penalty minutes

When 3 or more teams are tied in points
(i) Most wins in morning games
(ii) Goal differential: Number of goals scored minus number of goals allowed
(iii) Fewest penalty minutes

Winning team receives the A-Championship Trophy and player medals.

Finalist team will receive the B-Championship Trophy and player medals.

Medal presentation and team photos will take place on the ice immediately after the final game.

Thank you for coming!  We are looking forward to a fun day to wrap up our season!
