Pre-Season Ice Schedule...Fingers crossed for September 18
Muskrat MHA Families, we are getting close to being able to start our season!
The Township of Whitewater Region has provided us with the update that they are aiming for Monday, September 18th to have ice ready for us.
We have not yet been provided with our hours of ice for each day that week yet, but are hoping to have that and be able to provide families with a schedule later this week. Our Pre-Season ice schedule will not be the same as the regular season schedule, so your times are likely to differ.
Pre-Season Ice includes a couple of All-Skate sessions where all players have the opportunity to skate, in their full equipment, and practice some drills to get ready for the season. Players will be grouped by age level for those sessions.
After the All-Skates, we will host Tryouts for our competitive Muskrat Voyageurs teams. Players from U11-U18 are welcome to register for a tryout if they are interested. More information will be provided on that once we have an ice schedule. During tryouts and final cuts, other players/house league players will have several days off.
Once the competitive teams have been formed, we will host sort-outs for the U7 program and for the the U9-U18 house league players, to form and balance our teams.
We understand that families are trying to organize their calendars for fall (we are parents too, doing the same thing!) and will provide updates and a schedule just as soon as we receive our ice allocation from the Township. We will be sending emails to the address you provided in your Spordle account at time of registration, as well as updating our website here, and updating our Facebook page.
